About Sea Island Shrimp Company
Our Story
Sea Island Shrimp Company is owned and operated by three lifelong friends who have over 50 combined years of experience in the shrimping industry. The company name was derived from our favorite fishing grounds, located off the island of Sea Island, Georgia. Our expertise spans the industry from Captains at the helm of the boats catching the freshest shrimp to wholesale and retail. Our distribution includes wholesaling to established restaurants, grocers, and operating a brick-and-mortar retail placing the freshest shrimp into the hands of all consumers. This invaluable experience and knowledge of all aspects allows us to provide our customers with the freshest product directly from the fisherman avoiding extra cost and insuring the best quality.
